Bea's has served all-you-can-eat Southern food on Dodds Avenue since 1950. It is in its fifth generation, and Bea's grandchildren and great-grandchildren still work there.
There is no printed menu. Bowls of the day's dishes go on a lazy Susan in the middle of big round tables, so smaller parties share with strangers. The spread changes with the season, so call ahead to ask what's cooking. Fried chicken is what the place is known for.
