Why Ana Woodworks is No. 2
Ana Woodworks has built custom cabinets in Chattanooga since 1993. Carol and Mike Mackinnon started it, and it is still family-owned. Everything is designed and built at its plant on Calhoun Avenue: kitchens, bathroom vanities, closets, laundry rooms and specialty millwork such as wine rooms. Nothing is outsourced.
NKBA-certified kitchen designers work alongside the craftsmen. A project can run from architectural plans, space planning and lighting layout all the way to installation, and there is a design-only service for clients with their own contractor. Past jobs have used antique white oak and pecky cypress.
It works across Chattanooga, Signal Mountain, Lookout Mountain, Ooltewah and Cleveland, and in Dalton and Ringgold in north Georgia.
